MANILA - Child actors McNeal "Aura" Briguela and Simon "Onyok" Pineda will soon be making their big screen debut.
On Saturday's episode of "It's Showtime," comedian Vice Ganda revealed that he will be topbilling an upcoming film with Briguela and Pineda. He did not reveal any other details.
Before the film, the three will get a chance to workwith each other when Vice Ganda joins the young actors in the hit primetime series "Ang Probinsyano" next week. According to lead star Coco Martin, the episodes featuring Vice Ganda will focus on sextortion.
In a past interview, Briguela said that it has always been his dream to work with his idol Vice Ganda. He first shot to fame after he uploaded funny videos of himself online imitating lines from his favorite drama films. His clip has since earned more than three million views on Facebook.
Pineda, on the other hand, first got his break when he joined an "It's Showtime" segment dubbed "Mini-Me" as a miniature version of rock icon Bamboo. He later landed a role in "Ang Probinsyano" as a kid who endears himself to Martin's character because of his honesty and trust in policemen.
