MANILA -- What is Piolo Pascual looking for in a future wife?
The 37-year-old actor said that, for one, he would prefer if his partner is in her 20s once they get married.
In an interview on "Tapatan ni Tunying" to be aired on Thursday, Pascual explained that he is still hoping to have more children.
"I want to have a wife and four more kids," said Pascual, who has a 16-year-old son, Iñigo. "I'm fond of children. I want to live with my future wife at the soonest."
Iñigo is based in California with his mother.
Pascual added: "I wish she (future wife) will be in her 20s, or maybe mid-20s. As I said, I want four more children so I won't go for a girl in her 30s."
While he is approaching his 40s, Pascual has been conscious about maintaining an active lifestyle so he can "enjoy the time with my kids even when they grow."
"Just like my son. We get to do the same thing together," he said.
Pascual earlier said he intends to settle down only after Iñigo turns 18. In his "Tapatan ni Tunying" interview, the actor also brought up his busy schedule as to why he doesn't plan on getting married soon.
"Honestly, the time," he said. "If I want to enter in a relationship, it's easy to happen. There are lots of girls there. But how can I give her my full attention? I have no time."
Pascual is currently filming his comeback series "Hawak Kamay," which will join ABS-CBN's primetime lineup starting July 21. It also stars Iza Calzado and Nikki Gil, along with child stars Zaijan Jaranilla and Xyriel Manabat.
