MANILA - From lovers to friends.
Bea Alonzo, the star of the upcoming film "How To Be Yours," said she remains on good terms with former boyfriend, actor Zanjoe Marudo, following their split more than eight months ago.
Alonzo, who was with Marudo for five years, added that she does not see anything wrong with hanging out with the actor after their breakup. The two were last spotted getting cozy at a party back in May.
"Never naman kaming hindi naging friends. It ended well. Hindi kami nag-away. Until now ay magkaibigan pa rin kami," explained Alonzo.
According to Alonzo, the problems in her relationship with Marudo stemmed from their lack of time for each other. The two have yet to go into detail regarding their split.
Marudo turned emotional when he first admitted that he had broken up with Alonzo, but said he has kept in touch with his former flame.
Asked about whether there is a chance she will get back together with Marudo, Alonzo replied: "Hindi ko alam. Ngayon kasi talagang magkaibigan na lang kami."
