MANILA — Former actress and socialite Gretchen Barretto finally reunited with her daughter, Dominique Cojuangco, over the weekend after "seven flight cancellations" due to the coronavirus pandemic.
On Instagram, Barretto shared a video of her embracing her only child with businessman Tonyboy Cojuangco at their home in Makati.
In its caption, she wrote: "I get to kiss and embrace Dominique [after] 7 flight cancellations from San Francisco."
"COVID-19 negative," she added.
Dominique had been based in California, where she graduated from her merchandising and marketing degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in January.
In March, Dominique shared how she was coping with the coronavirus lockdown away from her family.
"I've been rationing my food as much as possible, but this is some people's reality everyday," she wrote at the time.
"I hope that everyone's taking the same precautions when it comes to not being wasteful, and not hoarding. As much as we can, let's be grateful for what we have."
