MANILA - Ruffa Gutierrez took on the role of an interviewee in the latest episode of “Love Thy Chika,” a first since the lockdown online show began over a month ago.
Thinking she was to interview her brother Raymond, Ruffa was surprised when he said he’ll be the one to ask her the questions.
Among the topics they talked about was how Ruffa was the one who looked after her younger siblings when they were still babies.
Talagang tulong-tulong lahat sa bahay,” she added.
Having played some role in “raising” her siblings, Ruffa said: “I am very proud of the persons that you and Chard have become, including Elvis. Lahat kayong magkakapatid.”
Raymond also asked why Ruffa pushed their parents Annabelle Rama and Eddie Gutierrez to let him and their other siblings live a normal life.
I think nakatulong 'yun Mond kasi importante na meron tayong buhay outside of show business. Hindi 'yung kapag nawala ang show business sa atin, hindi na natin alam kung anong gagawin sa buhay natin,” Ruffa said.
“We have to remember that fame is fleeting. I think I am happy that mom and dad listened to me at that time. Look how you guys turned out,” she added.
When asked what was her best memory growing up, Ruffa said: “Talagang it was in the States.”
“For me ang pinaka hindi ko makakalimutan sa childhood ko is really going to the park, naglalaro kasama ang mga aso ko, going out experiencing different situations na hindi ka lagi nasa harapan ng computer,” she explained.
