MANILA - Two young artists from Bamboo's Kamp Kawayan gave their best performance during the Battle Round of "The Voice Teens 2" on Sunday.
Rock Opong, previously a contestant on the show's kiddie edition, went against Darvic Villarin. They performed "Higher Love."
Noting how they performed better than during their rehearsals, Bamboo admitted that he paired Opong and Villarin so they can learn from each other.
He eventually chose Opong to compete in the next round. Villarin was eliminated from the competition after none of the other coaches used the "steal" privileges to try and save him.
The new "The Voice Teens" episode aired on the Kapamilya Channel, which is mainly available through cable providers such as Sky.
It airs at 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays and 7 p.m. on Sundays.
