MANILA – Streaming service iFlix recently announced its partnership with Viva Communications, the same company behind the hit movies “Sid and Aya: Not a Love Story” and “Never Not Love You.”
The deal allows iFlix users to enjoy Viva’s movie library, which amounts to almost 9,000 hours of screen time.
Viva will also co-produce original content with iFlix – more specifically, 30 films and nine shows.
Vincent del Rosario, Viva’s president and chief operating officer, believes that the partnership with iFlix will give their talents exposure to international audiences.
“I would like to thank the group of iFlix for getting this off the ground,” he said. “We’re happy that we’re bringing our content on the platform, but we’re happier because we’re getting our stars exposed to 23 territories. Hopefully, some of them can break through.”
“We’re also planning to do originals for the next three years, and do some more in the years to come,” he added.
Among the Viva movies that are currently available on iFlix are “Meet Me in St. Gallen,” “Kita Kita,” “100 Tula Para Kay Stella,” “Trophy Wife,” “The Gifted,” “Camp Sawi,” and “When the Love is Gone.”
More titles are set to be rolled out in the streaming platform, as shown in the video below:
