MANILA -- A 12-year-old lass from Angeles, Pampanga wowed the coaches with her powerful voice on the second season of "The Voice Kids" on Sunday.

Sassa Dagdag, who came from a musically inclined family, performed the hit song "Chandelier," making all three coaches turn for her.

Broadway star Lea Salonga congratulated Austria for her song choice.

"Congratulations! Very good song choice. It was less interesting later, it was most interesting at the beginning," she added.

Rocker Bamboo Mañalac, who, along with singer Sarah Geronimo, turned after hearing only a few notes, said he found the whole performance interesting.

"I liked it all, tapos 'yung dulo mo, when you suddenly took it soft, that showed me you want to make it your own, and make it different. I want you," he told Austria.

"Kumpleto itong batang ito. From her looks, paano siya tumayo sa stage, hindi niya kailangang bumirit, napaikot niya kaagad kaming tatlo," Geronimo added.

Austria eventually chose to be part of Kamp Kawayan, joining 13 other young artists.

"The Voice Kids," which is hosted by Robi Domingo, Luis Manzano, and Yeng Constatino, airs Saturdays at 6:45 p.m. and Sundays at 7:30 p.m.
