K-pop group EXO to return to Manila in August

MANILA—South Korean boy group EXO will perform on August 24 at Mall of Asia Arena, concert promoter PULP Live World announced Tuesday.

The Manila show is part of EXO's 5th solo concert, "EXO Planet #5 — EXplOration."

Ticket prices have yet to be revealed, but tickets will go on sale on August 4 via SM Tickets, Pulp said.

EXO, one of the Top male acts in K-pop genre, performed in the country in October 2018 as part of the Manila show of South Korean music program "Show Champion."

The group debuted in 2011 with 12 members. Three Chinese members left in 2014 and 2015 after getting into legal disputes with their management, SM Entertainment. 

The group is currently composed of 9 members: Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun.

Xiumin enlisted for his mandatory military service as an active duty soldier on May 7 while D.O. enlisted as an active soldier on July 1.
