MANILA, Philippines – Amid their much-publicized sibling spat, actress Cristine Reyes made a new appeal to actress Ara Mina, admitting that she also misses her older sister.
This comes after Mina said she still misses her younger sister even if she believes Reyes' recent publicly apology seemed insincere.
In an interview with ABS-CBN Europe News Bureau, Reyes said she is still hoping that their rift would soon be ironed out.
“I miss her too. I just hope na matapos na ito lahat kasi para sa akin, ang problema ng pamilya, ang problema naming dalawa, dapat talaga sa bahay ‘yan pinag-uusapan,” she said.
Reyes also reiterated that she is sorry if she had offended Mina.
Hindi kami ibang tao, magkapatid kami,” she explained.
Reyes said their family feels incomplete whenever Mina isn’t around during important occassions.
The “Dahil sa Pag-ibig” star said she loves her family so much that she would not even think of hurting or humiliating any of them in public.
Reyes said it has always been her goal to work hard to give her family a better life.
In April, Mina slapped Reyes with cases of libel and grave coercion for allegedly maligning her and asking her to turn over an SUV as payment for the remaining P1.8-million balance for a Quezon City townhouse they bought in 2011 for their mother. – from a report by Rose Eclarinal, ABS-CBN Europe News Bureau
