MANILA — After three months off air due to the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent closure of ABS-CBN, "Ang Probinsyano" has resumed production, with new episodes now airing on Kapamilya Channel.
In the first glimpse of its new-normal set with strict safety protocols in place, lead star and director Coco Martin is seen reviewing footage while wearing a face mask.
The snap was posted Tuesday on the official Instagram fan page of the actor, captioned, "Direk Coco is back!"
When it resumed airing via Kapamilya Channel on June 15, "Ang Probinsyano" re-aired the last 10 episodes seen on ABS-CBN.
Monday saw the first new episode of the series since the lockdown, with familiar elements like an infectious disease and a "kill order" versus Cardo (Martin).
