Troye Sivan, the Australian singer best known for his smash hit "Youth," made a surprise visit to the country this week.
Sivan confirmed his unannounced trip on Twitter, saying that he "dipped in and out" of the country "working on fun stuff."
"If I've taken one thing from this trip it's that I can't WAIT to come back," he added, before thanking his Filipino fans in Tagalog.
It was late Wednesday when photos of Sivan in Manila first surfaced on Twitter. The singer was again spotted at a mall in Makati Thursday afternoon.
Sivan's "Youth," off his debut album "Blue Neighborhood," was ranked 11th in a list by Billboard of best pop songs of 2016.
Also an LGBT rights advocate, he is the youngest recipient of the Stephen F. Kolzak honor from GLAAD, which is given to those who have been stand-outs in promoting both equality and acceptance.
