MANILA - "The Voice Kids" is on a record-breaking streak.
For a third consecutive week, the ABS-CBN program breached 40% in nationwide ratings, according to a Kantar Media panel size that represents 100% of the Philippine TV viewing population.
On its social media accounts, "The Voice Kids" announced that it registered a national TV rating of 39.6% on June 27 and 42.5% the following night.
Its June 28 viewership beat its previous all-time high of 40.7% set last June 13, also for a Blind Auditions episode featuring coaches Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo and Lea Salonga recruiting young artists into their respective teams.
The 42.5% rating is also the local franchise's highest since its June 2013 debut, across two seasons of the adult version "The Voice of the Philippines" and the first "Kids" edition that also broke records at the time.
The first season of "The Voice Kids," which named Lyca Gairanod as the title winner, peaked at 37.7% with its final live performance night.
