MANILA – An 11-year-old girl from Cebu wowed coaches Sarah Geronimo and Lea Salonga on the second season of ''The Voice Kids.''

Aside from singing, Jolianne Salvado is also into declamation and writing poetry.

Her mother said Salvado remains humble despite her achievements. But because of this, she has also been the target of bullies in her school.

For her audition, Salvado took on Arianna Grande’s “Tattoed Heart.”

Rock icon Bamboo Manalac, who didn’t turn for the girl, said, “After that, I want to kick myself. I like that spirit that you have.”

Geronimo, meanwhile, praised the girl for her effortless singing. “Kaunting push lang 'yan, pero gustong-gusto ko na 'yung pagkaswabe ng kanta mo,” she said.

Salonga, meanwhile, described the girl’s singing as “effortless, crystal clear, cuts through the air.”

In the end, Salvado chose Geronimo to become the 11th member of Team Sarah.

"The Voice Kids", which is hosted by Robi Domingo and Yeng Constatino, airs Saturdays at 6:45 p.m. and Sundays at 7:30 p.m.
