Fans of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla in South Korea may want to head to Bucheon next month.
That's because the love team's "Barcelona: A Love Untold" has been revealed as part of Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival's (BIFAN) Best of Asia lineup.
About a young couple who met in Spain and their journey to find the answers to their lifelong questions, the film is directed by Olivia M. Lamasan. It is one of the country's highest-grossing movies of 2016, earning P321 million.
Reacting to the movie's inclusion, Bernardo, in an interview on "Tonight with Boy Abunda," said: "Kung may dapat akong pasalamatan for this project, that's inang Olivia Lamasan. Lalong tumaas iyong respeto ko sa kanya after working with her dito."
This year's BIFAN will be held from July 13 to 23. Other Filipino films included in the Best of Asia program is other Star Cinema offerings "The Super Parental Guardians" and "The Unmarried Wife."
Elsewhere, Mikhail Red's award-winning "Birdshot" will be showcased under the World Fantastic Red section.
