MANILA -- The romance drama "Us Again," which starred RK Bagatsing and Jaine Oineza, is now available worldwide via TFC Online and TFC IPTV.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Thursday via Zoom, Oineza and Bagatsing shared their excitement now that their film will be available to Filipinos abroad.
"Natuwa ako na in-announce nila na finally nasa TFC na kasi ang iba kong kakilala at nagsu-support sa akin na nasa abroad ay may chance na sila to watch our fim and I'm very excited and I hope na they enjoy watching it as well," Oineza shared.
For Bagatsing, he believes that the film is their simple way to entertain Filipinos globally, especially during this difficult time because of COVID-19 pandemic.
"Like I said before, one the most important factors that helped me get this pandemic was watching movies. And I'm happy na mapapanood na kami sa TFC. It's one way also na ma-entertain ang mga Kapamilya natin. Few hours of their time, to keep their minds of sa kung anuman ang problema natin sa labas. I'm very happy about that," Bagatsing said.
The film follows the story of Margie, a medical technician, and Mike, an artist, who meet at the lowest points in their careers. While they tackle their personal struggles, they found acceptance from each other. They seem to be perfect for each other, if only Mike is not in a relationship with Margie’s best friend. As years pass, Margie puts her past behind and focuses on putting herself back together. Until Mike returns trying to make amends for the mistakes he has done in the past.
"In 'Us Again,' we see people that are not perfect na tao lang. May decisions based on how they feel at makikita natin ang consequences ng decisions na 'yon and 'yung journey nila sa pagpi-figure out nung consequences," Oineza said of their movie.
"These characters are flawed human beings. I think in life, ang dami nating mistakes na nagagawa. At one point, you can identify even yourself or mga kilala mo na character ang mga pagkakamali nila na nagawa before. 'Yung experience na 'yon ay magbibigay lessons sa ating lahat. Watching a love story feeling mo alam mo na kung saanpupunta. This is not one of those stories," Bagatsing added.
"Us Again" is produced by Regal Entertainment, and is directed by Joy Aquino. It was released in cinemas last February 26.
