MANILA, Philippines – Professional singer Radha Tinsay is hoping to get a second chance to shine, this time as a member of Team Lea on “The Voice of the Philippines.”

Radha, who was part of the award-winning group Kulay when she was just 15, auditioned for the TV talent search on Sunday’s episode, singing Tina Turner’s “What’s Love Got to Do with It.”

Now 36, Radha said she is ready to move on and explore more things. “Feeling ko po marami pa akong pwedeng matutunan at ma-improve,” she said.

Broadway actress Lea Salonga was the first to turn her red seat for Radha, followed by singer-actress Sarah Geronimo, who screamed when she recognized the contestant.

“OMG, Miss Radha is in the house,” Geronimo shouted. “Tuwang tuwa ako nung nakita ko kayo, excited po ako …kayo ang hinanap ng show na ito.”

Salonga, for her part, said she recalled watching Radha in rehearsals for the stage musical “Once On This Island,” where she was the coach. “Mas magaling ka ngayon,” she told Radha.

Although Radha has also worked with Geronimo, she picked Salonga to be her coach on “The Voice.”

“Siya ‘yung unang humarap with matching dance number pa,” Radha explained to “The Voice” host Toni Gonzaga.

After the show aired, Salonga took to Twitter to share her excitement about having Radha on her team.

"Sa totoo lang I've wanted to tweet about Radha the moment she picked my team. Pero di puwede. I'm so happy we can tell the world now! #VoicePHBlinds," Salonga tweeted.
