MANILA – A 14-year-old girl from Binangonan, Rizal had the late Whitney Houston "out-Whitney-ed" with her performance during the final night of the Blind Auditions of "The Voice Kids" on Sunday.

Grace Alade made all three coaches turn their chairs with her rendition of Whitney Houston's "Try It On My Own."

"Ang ganda ng boses mo!" exclaimed Lea Salonga. "I might get struck by lightning but you just out-Whitneyed Whitney [Hosuton]."

Meanwhile, Bamboo Mañalac called Alade's performance the best of the show so far.

"You belong already with the big leagues. Para sa akin, overall the best complete performance in this whole show so far," he said.

For her part, Sarah Geronimo said she is already 100% sure that Alade will make it big in the future with such voice.

She even stood up to get an autograph from Alade.

"Hihingin ko na ang autograph mo ngayon pa lang. Kahit na hindi ako ang piliin mo bilang coach mo, kahit hindi sa show na ito, I'm sure, as in 100% sure ako na magiging sikat ka kasi natural ang pagiging magaling mo na singer at 14 years old," said Geronimo.

But after all the flattering remarks as the coaches fought over her, the humbled 14-year-old contestant chose to join Team Lea.

"She is very complete in her emotions, in her technique, in her delivery. I'm very excited to start working with her," Salonga said after Alade chose her.

Alade, who is Salonga's 18th artist, completed Team Lea.

Others who made to Team Lea are Koko Luy, Jimboy Garcia, Darlene Vibares, Angelico Claridad Tonton Cabiles, Camille Santos, Karla Cruz, Genmarie Guiao, Angelique Trinidad, Marianne Interino, Giedie Laroco, Lorenoz Cinco, Eufritz Santos, Kobe Viray, Shane Dandan, Rein Pineda and Angel Aguilera.
