Evangeline Lilly, the star of Marvel's latest superhero flick "Ant-Man and the Wasp," instantly recognized Kapamilya reporter Marie Lozano the moment the latter entered the room for their interview.
Seated, Lilly told Lozano, "Oh my god, I saw you in the thing this morning, the press conference when we had the whole room!"
The Canadian actress was referring to a Southeast Asian press junket recently held in Taipei for "Ant-Man and the Wasp," ahead of its July 4 release in the Philippines.
"I was like, 'Oh my god, look at her outfit, look at her hair, she's amazing!'" Lilly told Lozano as the ABS-CBN News reporter approached her for a selfie.
"We totally look like twins!" Lilly quipped afterward, referring to the similar stylish jumpsuits they wore.
Lilly's was by Australian designer Toni Maticevski, while Lozano wore a Charina Sarte creation, which the Hollywood star described as "wonderful" and "very kind of mamacita."
On Instagram, Lozano wrote about the exchange: "It was a great twinning moment with Evangeline but more than this it was honor to once again showcase Filipino talent!"
In the interview, Lilly revealed she had previously been to Palawan, before it became a popular tourist destination. She also shared her fascination with Whang-od, the Kalinga tattoo artist, whose photo she even posted on Instagram.
