Posting her graduation picture taken 16 years ago, Gonzaga revealed that she almost failed to march because of something she did.

“Isa ako sa ‘mythical 5’ kung saan nagkaroon ng debate ang mga teachers and sisters for a month kung kami ay papayagan mag-march sa graduation. Ang reason sa 'kin lagi ko daw kasi inaasar ang Filipino teacher namin during class,” she said.

“Sa 1 month deliberation nila while my batchmates were practicing for our grad, we were left in the classroom. But super nag-volunteer kami na mag-help and assist sa lahat ng teachers,” she added.

Thankfully, they were summoned to the principal’s office three days before graduation to inform them about the good news that they could march.

Sharing her takeaway from the experience, Gonzaga said: “It’s never too late to show you deserve to march in your graduation.”
