MANILA, Philippines -- Child actor Yogo Singh celebrated his 10th birthday on Sunday at a restaurant in Quezon City.
"Sana makabili ako ng bala ng PSP," the "Wako Wako" star said when asked of his birthday wish.
"Sana marami akong projects at saka sana good health," he added.
His "Wako Wako" co-star Gladys Reyes said she considers Singh like her own son since he would sometimes sleep over at her house as he has become friends with Reyes's children.
"Para na kitang anak kaya be a good boy. Huwag masyadong naughty at saka more projects kasi itong batang ito ang isa sa mga nakilala ko at nakatrabaho ko na magaling talaga. Kaya sana malayo pa ang marating niya. Happy birthday, anak," said Reyes.
Also attending the party was child actor Zaijan Jaranilla, who said he and Singh have been friends for two years now.
Jaranilla and Singh appeared in the series "Ikaw ay Pag-ibig."
"Sana po more projects more blessings to come sana po matapos niya lahat ng modules niya. Good luck sa career," Jaranilla said, when asked of his birthday wish for his friend.
"Sana siya din more blessings. Sana galingan niya dun sa 'Lorenzo's Time,'" Singh said, thanking Jaranilla.
Director Maryo J. delos Reyes, who discovered Singh, also greeted the birthday boy.
"Sa aking anak, I wish him na maging magaling siyang artista at magtuloy-tuloy siya sa kanyang passion na maging magaling na batang artista. Sana magtuloy-tuloy din' yang pag-aaral niya sa home-study program at swerte sa buhay," the director said.
Delos Reyes met Singh when the boy was only 4 years old.
"Sabi sa akin, 'Direk. gawin niyo akong artista gusto ko po talaga.' sabi ko sa sarili ko 'pag bata talaga ang nagsabi noon, 'yan ang gustong mag-artista, hindi 'yung mga magulang," the director recalled.
"Yogo, don't be naughty. Alisin natin 'yung mga hindi natin gusto. Mag-aral mabuti. Laging sundin ang mommy mo," delos Reyes told Singh.
