MANILA – Maja Salvador surprised viewers when her character in the television series “Wildflower” showed off her warrior side.

After her trending and well-lauded fight scenes last Monday, Salvador opened up about the struggles she went through to show what her character is physically capable of.

“I’ve had action scenes in my past projects but so far, this is the toughest routine I did. I had to do it all in heels,” Salvador exclaimed.

“If you really love your character and you are giving your 100% to the show, there is really nothing you cannot do even if it’s really hard,” she added.

When asked if she is open to doing more action projects, Salvador said: “Why not? Just like what Ivy Aguas said, ‘Bring it on!’”

Salvador said she likes doing challenging projects because she can explore her abilities further and see what else she can offer as an actress.

Prior to “Wildflower,” Salvador was part of the top-rating series “Ang Probinsyano,” where she played a female cop.

"Wildflower," which airs weeknights before "TV Patrol," is now on its second season.
