MANILA – A fan of Jovit Baldovino is the newest member of Kamp Kawayan on the second season of ''The Voice Kids.''

Christian Pasno, a 10-year old from Batangas, hails from a family known in their San Juan town for their singing talent, with his father earning a living as a band member.

Pasno said his father started playing Baldovino’s songs in their house when he was five.

For his blind auditions, Pasno sang his idol’s hit “Ika’y Mahal Pa Rin.”

Judge Lea Salonga said, “Ang galing mong pumili ng idolo. Ang galing-galing ni Jovit kumanta. Pagkanta niya talga, yung puso niyang nangingibabaw. Meron kang ganoon eh.”

Bamboo agreed, but added that “kailangan mo ring matuto kung paano magkuwento.”

Despite Salonga telling him not to be afraid of her, Pasno picked the rocker to be his coach.

Bamboo noted that the kid had “angas na bagay sa Kamp Kawayan.”

Pasno is the fourth member of Bamboo’s team, joining young fashionista Ataska Mercado, Romeo Espino, and Lance Aguelo
