Ely Buendia is warning fans to be wary of a scam promising tickets to a fake Eraserheads reunion concert.
The band's ex-frontman said on Twitter that VIP tickets to the bogus performance is being peddled for as much as P75,000.
He wrote: "For the record, I am not aware of any reunions happening this year or any time in the future."
He also defended himself from the apparent blame fans have been pinning on him over why a reunion concert has yet to materialize.
"It’s not like I’m the only one deciding these things. I’m just another cog in the machinery," he said.
"Don't get why when it’s something negative about the band, the blame falls on me, but if it’s something positive, oh, it’s a group effort. Anyway I was just trying to warn the general public. Peace."
This is the second rumor in six months about a Eraserheads reunion --the previous claimed that the band was getting back together to perform during the last UAAP men's basketball finals.
