MANILA — Screen veteran Sharon Cuneta and her daughter Miel have become the subject of envy among K-pop fans after they were able to meet and take a photo with the members of boy group NCT 127.
Sharon and Miel were among those who attended the K-pop World Music Festival at the Mall of Asia Arena Sunday night, where NCT 127 performed alongside other K-pop acts.
Cuneta said it was comedian Vice Ganda who helped arrange their meeting with the Korean stars after the comedian called up fellow “It's Showtime” host Ryan Bang, who served as the concert's emcee.
“Thank you so much to my Vicey for calling and calling Ryan Bang in the middle of his emceeing,” Cuneta wrote on her Instagram post.
“And thank you dear Ryan Bang for getting us through the boys’ masusungit na handlers,” added Cuneta.
Cuneta has made no secret of her being K-pop fan.
In one episode of “Gandang Gabi Vice,” Cuneta even showed off her knowledge of K-pop choreography by dancing to “TT” by the girl group Twice.
