MANILA -- It may seem like Kim Chiu's enjoying all the attention.

But past all the cheery positivity that she's displaying throughout this period of intense bashing -- one of the worst low points of her life -- she is hurting, according to her sister, Lakam.

On Instagram this past week, Lakam posted a behind-the-scenes look into Chiu's recording session with Wish 107.5 showing the actress in tears as she tried to sing the entirety of her "Bawal Lumabas" song.

"You may look at her as a strong woman, unaffected of everything that is happening right now. But she is also a human being," the caption for the clip read. "May pakiramdam."

"She wants to show you she is happy, strong, positive, which she is, but behind that I know there are things that she doesn't want to show us.., she is trying to understand everything."

Lakam explained that the video, which was bombarded by dislikes, was Chiu overcoming a "big fear," and praised her sister for facing "the people who will put her down again once the video will be out."

"All I can say is my sister is a superwoman," Lakam said. "Throw stones at her; she will throw back kindness."

In the caption, it was also revealed that Chiu had sold out all of her "Bawal Lumabas" merchandise, which will benefit the COVID-19 response. You can check out the Lakam's full caption below:

Chiu wrote "Bawal Lumabas" after experiencing being bullied online over an incoherent thought she had while pleading for ABS-CBN to be allowed to return on air. She described it as "one of the lowest points" of her life, before turning it into a positive.

The Wish 107.5 version has more than 6.5 million views.
