MANILA – It’s been a year since actor-turned-fashion blogger AJ Dee last saw his wife and two sons, who are currently residing in Norway.
However, Dee is left with no choice but to wait for the results of his visa application before moving permanently to the European country.
“Last time, it was supposed to be this month na lalabas 'yung result [ng application]. Unfortunately, may bagong update na next month na naman daw so hintay pa rin ako,” Dee told ABS-CBN News during the Watsons Men event on Tuesday.
Despite this, Dee makes sure he gets to talk to his family every day.
Dee said his heart breaks every time his eldest son, four-year-old Maximus James, asks where he is.
Nakakaiyak,” he said.
According to Dee, his visa application is also one of the reasons he cannot accept any acting project at the moment.
“Ang hirap mag-commit kasi ang hirap to start a new thing na alam mong any moment aalis ka. Kung may opportunity and then ginawa ko, I have to finish it.
Dee said all he wants now is to be able to fly to Norway to be with his family.
Kumabaga, 'yung purpose ko, kailangan nandoon na ako,” he said.
According to Dee, the last time he saw his family was in June last year. His wife and two sons visited the Philippines for two weeks, one month after they met up in New York where Dee’s younger brother Enchong took part in Vice Ganda’s concert.
