MANILA -- She may have failed to make the coaches turn but she still earned praises from the coaches after she rapped a popular Black Eyed Peas song on the second season of "The Voice Kids Philippines."
Franceska Rojas from Cebu performed Little Mix's "Wings" but failed to make any of the coaches turn for her.
"I love the song, and it matches your presonality, but I think, we need to practice this (pointing to ear) a little bit more," Lea Salonga said.
She then asked Rojas a sample of her other talent.
After performing Black Eyed Peas' "Where is the Love?," Rojas got the surprise of her life when apl.de.ap called her.
"Wow talagang sobrang galing ng version mo ng 'Where is the Love.' Hi Cheska! Coach Apl ito. Ang masasabi ko sa ginawa mo, A.P.L., ang pag-rap mo, lovable."
Rojas was not able to control her tears after hearing the message from the Black Eyed Peas member and judge on "The Voice of the Philippines."
"The Voice Kids," which is hosted by Robi Domingo and Yeng Constatino, airs Saturdays at 6:45 p.m. and on Sundays at 7:30 p.m.
