'The World of a Married Couple' will premiere on Philippine TV via Kapamilya Channel on June 15
MANILA—A couple's marriage is torn by infidelity in the first Philippine trailer of "The World of a Married Couple," the highest-rated South Korean cable drama joining the maiden lineup of Kapamilya Channel.
Released on Friday, the trailer shows the growing doubt of Ji Sun-woo (Kim Hee-ae) about the faithfulness of her husband, Lee Tae-oh (Park Hae-joon), as she discovers traces of this in his clothes and other belongings.
She confirms her worst fear when she trails her husband to a party, with no less than her friends apparently aware of Tae-oh's affair.
The Philippine TV premiere of "The World of a Married Couple" comes just a month after its record-breaking conclusion in South Korea in May.
On Friday, the lead role of the scorned wife earned actress Kim the top acting prize in the country's Baeksang Arts Awards 2020.
"The World of a Married Couple" will air weeknights at 9 p.m., starting June 15 on Kapamilya Channel.
Kapamilya Channel will be available from June 13 on SKY, Cablelink, G Sat, and most member-cable operators of the Philippine Cable Television Association (PCTA) nationwide.
