MANILA - A young boy from Olongapo is the latest artist to join the team of Sharon Cuneta on the third season of ''The Voice Kids.''
Seven-year-old Memphis Malapad charmed his way into Cuneta's heart with his rendition of Jireh Lim's "Buko" on Sunday.
"Nakakatuwa ka naman. Na-in love ako sa boses mo kahit baby-ng baby," Cuneta told Malapad.
Broadway star Lea Salonga, for her part, said she did not turn for Malapad because she believes the song did not suit him.
"I'm sorry hindi kita inikutan.
"The Voice Kids," which is hosted by Luis Manzano, Robi Domingo, and Kim Chiu, airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and on Sundays after "Wansapanataym."
