MANILA – Cameras have started rolling for Sarah Geronimo's latest movie “Unforgettable.”

The singer-actress arrived on set for their first day of filming on Monday and she was surprised to be welcomed by rousing applause from her co-stars and the crew behind the new film.

They congratulated Geronimo for her recent victory at the 35th PMPC Star Awards for Movies where she and Kathryn Bernardo tied for best actress.

Geronimo was recognized for her performance in the Filipino adaptation of the Korean film "Miss Granny," while Bernardo bagged the award for her role in "The Hows of Us."

While she was not able to attend the awards night which was held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater on Sunday, Geronimo was all smiles as she thanked everyone who kept cheering her on.

Meanwhile, Bernardo, who personally received her award on Sunday, told PEP that she is happy to share the recognition with Geronimo.

“Sayang wala siya rito, but I want to congratulate her also kasi magkasunod ang movies namin, parang halos nagsabay. Happy ako, si Sarah, alam ko na pinaghirapan niya 'yung pelikula niya. So, deserve niya talaga 'yun," Bernardo said.
