MANILA – Ejay Falcon denied rumors that he is planning to leave ABS-CBN after he signed a deal PPL Entertainment, Inc. which will now co-manage him along with Star Magic.
In an interview with entertainment site PEP, Falcon said he inked a deal with Perry Lansingan’s PPL because he wants to be able to explore more opportunities in addition to those being given to him by ABS-CBN’s talent management arm.
"Siguro may hinahanap lang ako, dagdag na trabaho. Kasi sa Star Magic, nandoon naman ang pag-aalaga nila. Kaya lang siguro siyempre, marami kami sa isang handler. Okay naman, nagagawa naman, pero siyempre iba lang din ang may iba pa. Gusto ko lang din siguro na may tututok sa akin at dalawa silang mag-iisip for me," he explained.
Shrugging off talks about a possible network transfer, Falcon pointed out that he still has a number of projects with ABS-CBN.
"Sa ngayon, hindi ko pa 'yan naiisip. Kasi, unang-una, ang dami ko pang ginagawa. Papasok pa ako sa ‘Ang Probinsyano’ at may teleserye pa, 'yung ‘The Promise of Forever,’" he said.
Seven years since he first joined showbiz, Falcon said he really enjoys doing action projects. Despite this, the actor said he would be happy with whatever project comes his way.
“Ngayon, kahit ano naman. Nakakapag-drama naman ako. Nakapag-sexy ako sa ‘Pasion de Amor.’ Kung kaya na dramatic-sexy-action sa isang serye, kahit alin doon,” he said.
Falcon first rose to fame after winning the teen edition of the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother” in 2008.
