MANILA - Jacob Benedicto, the "Cutie Crooner of Parañaque," was the fourth housemate to be booted out of the "Pinoy Big Brother" house during the show's live eviction night on Saturday.
Benedicto, who was nominated for eviction through standard voting, garnered 7 votes from his housemates. Majority noted his overly competitive nature and his tendency to strategize behind their backs.
Among those nominated, Benedicto only managed to receive 16.59% of the votes from home viewers, the lowest of the three.
The other two housemates who were saved from eviction were celebrity teen housemate Jane Oineza and the "Singing Sunshine ng Davao" Maris Racal.
Asked how he felt being ousted from the competition, an emotional Benedicto said: "Best month of my life. Masaya po ako. Grateful po ako. Thank you, Kuya."
Moments after, a very different Benedicto emerged from the 'PBB' house and was was greeted by hosts Robi Romingo, Toni Gonzaga, and John Prats.
"Yung experience sa 'PBB' iba talaga. You learn so much. I had such wonderful housemates. Thank you so much sa inyong mga support," he told Gonzaga.
