The Facebook page of Filipino band Parokya ni Edgar was hacked Thursday night, according to frontman Chito Miranda.

Miranda and his bandmates lost control of their page, which has more than 5 million followers, before it began sharing obscene pornographic videos.

"Na-hack yung official Facebook page ng Parokya," he wrote to warn fans, "tinanggal kami lahat as Admins. Ano kaya magandang gawin?"

The sexually explicit content only appears for the followers of the page, screenshots online showed.

The "hackers" have yet to post any pornographic content that reflects on the page itself, as of the time of this article's publishing, other than changing its profile picture to a woman.
