MANILA - Singer-actor Marco "Mcoy" Fundales expressed support for the new version of "Pinoy Ako", the hit song he made with his former band Orange and Lemons.

"Pinoy Ako", the official theme song of "Pinoy Big Brother," was remade by a new band from Tacloban, the "Reo Brothers."

"The brothers who made it, they are very, very good and we are all Beatles fans so I can relate with their own interpretation of the song," said Fundales who's now vocalist of the band Kenyo.

The singer also extended his appreciation to all who remembered his former band.

"I'm thankful for the people who miss the band and I hope they continue supporting the bands that came from this band Orange and Lemons, parang si Kuya nag-move on," said Fundales who is also an ex-PBB housemate.

It was in 2005 when Fundales' former band "Orange and Lemons" came up with the song "Pinoy Ako."

Currently, Fundales is preparing for the final performance of 2014 PhilPop which will be held July 26 at Meralco Theater.
