MANILA - Lance Raymundo is thrilled with the opportunities coming his way, now that he has fully recovered from a freak accident that crushed his face last March.

Raymundo told radio dzMM on Thursday that projects have started coming in -- including an endorsement deal -- a month after he underwent two surgeries to restore his face.

"Actually, yes," he said, when asked if he is making a showbiz comeback soon. "Atsaka my endorsement akong pumasok kanina lang. So I'm really thankful na... Kasi I lost some jobs noong nagkasakita ko, pero mabilis bumalik din."

"Gano'n talaga. Trust lang. Hindi ako na-depress, e," he said.

Last March 20, parts of Raymundo's face were shattered after a 95-pound barbell fell on it while he exercising at a gym. His first surgery last March 25 pieced back his broken nose, the socket of his left eye, his right cheek bone, and closed a part of his skull that exposed his brain.

"Excited na nga akong umarte ulit, kasi feeling ko it has helped me na mas may paghugutan din and [to have] a lot more to offer," he said.

Raymundo, who has said his recovery was a "miracle," sees his return to showbiz as a way of "giving back to God, dahil sa blessing na binigay niya sa akin."

"So feeling ko, mas magagalingan ko 'yung trabaho ko," he added.

Asked what he has learned from the near-fatal experience, Raymundo answered: "Importante talaga sa tao 'yung positivity. Sa kabila ng pagsubok, you should never give up... I wouldn't take it another way na hindi ito mangyayari sa akin. Parte ito ng buhay ko, I embrace it. Thank you for the opportunity to be an inspiration."
