MANILA — The breakout tandem of Alexa Ilacad and KD Estrada dominated the local iTunes chart on Friday, with their soundtrack album jumping to the No. 1 spot shortly after its midnight release.
The official soundtrack of their ongoing series “Run To Me” ranked atop the local album list, while all five of its tracks placed in the top 10 songs chart at one point.
Aside from the five songs from the album — “Hiwaga,” “Palagi,” “Kasi, Kung, Kahit,” “Misteryo,” and “When I See You Again” — the single versions of “When I See You Again” and “Misteryo” also charted.
At one point, seven out of the top 10 songs on iTunes Philippines were from “KDLex.”
“Us against the world,” Ilacad wrote on Instagram on Friday. “To our amazing sweethearts & solids, thank you for being so united for us. You make me tear up in the best way possible.”
“Run To Me,” which marks the first series of Ilacad and Estrada as a love team, streams weekly episodes on Kumu and iWantTFC.
