MANILA – Ruffa Gutierrez admitted that being cast in a movie with Coco Martin and Sarah Geronimo made her feel like a teenager again.

In "Maybe This Time," Gutierrez plays the role of Monica, who is the girlfriend of Martin’s character, Tonio.

"It’s a love triangle between me, Coco, and Sarah. I’m not Coco’s mother in the movie, not even Sarah's aunt. I feel like a teenager," said Gutierrez in an interview with "Tapatan ni Tunying" which is set to air this Thursday.

Gutierrez said she is honored that she was given the opportunity to work with Martin and Geronimo.

"Two young superstars ang kasama ko, sino ang tatanggi? For me, it's such an honor to be part of this film and napakahusay nilang pareho,” she said.

Asked if she and Martin had difficulty building chemistry, Gutierrez said, "I'm just very lucky to work with a very talented actor that we immediately established a rapport, which can be seen on the big screen."

Written by Melai Monge and Anton Santamaria, "Maybe This Time" centers on former sweethearts Tonio (Martin) and Steph (Geronimo) as they cross paths again years after he left her without closure.

Steph, who works in a PR firm, is tasked by her boss, Monica (Gutierrez), to get Tonio a makeover in time for the opening of a new bar. Matters turn complicated when Steph learns that Tonio and Monica are in a relationship.

"Maybe This Time" is a co-production between Star Cinema and Viva Films and is under the direction of Jerry Lopez Sineneng.

It hits theaters nationwide today, May 28.
