MANILA – Nadine Samonte turned creative as she made use of all the syringe she had during her two delicate pregnancies for a photo shoot of her two children.
On Instagram, the actress said she kept all of it to remind her that every needle was worth it just to see both her son and daughter live.
“I kept everything from my first born to my 2nd and after this pictorial I’m gonna frame it para paglaki nila makita nila at itutusok ko sa kanila pag makulit na sila,” she said in jest.
According to an article by PEP, Samonte had to be injected multiple times during her two pregnancies as she was diagnosed with antiphospholipid antibody syndrome, a type of an autoimmune disorder.
Looking back, Samonte said she feels good to have undergone everything for the sake of her children.
“Thank you for my beautiful children and Lord 'wag niyo po papabayaan ang pamilya namin. Mahal na mahal ko sila (my husband, my daughter and my son),” she said. “Ang sarap dahil natapos din ako.”
To end her post, Samonte called her son and daughter as her rainbow babies.
