Yassi Pressman and Sam Milby will co-star in a movie for the first time.
The two will team up for "Ang Pambansang Third Wheel," a romantic comedy from Viva Films about a woman who finds herself in love with a man with a kid.
It will be directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal, best known for his independent feature "I America" that was shown at the 29th Tokyo International Film Festival in Tokyo last year.
Explaining Pressman's character, Payawal said: "Gusto niya siya iyong priority pero dahil in-accept niya itong lalaki na ito sa buhay niya, kailangan niyang mag-adjust doon sa bata."
This is the first time Pressman and Milby will be topbilling a movie. They both appeared in 2016's "Camp Sawi" but had little to no scenes together.
Milby is coming off the success of "Doble Kara," an afternoon soap that ran for more than year, while Pressman is currently enjoying her newfound fame as part of "Ang Probinsyano."
A release date for "Ang Pambansang Third Wheel" has yet to be set. It will also star child actor Alonzo Muhlach and Sam Pinto.
