"Here's an actor who really takes his craft to another level," one of the announcers gushed.
Stephen Amell has been training himself into a superhero while filming "Arrow," and all his hard work showed as he crushed the famous obstacle course of "American Ninja Warrior."
Channeling his inner Emerald Archer, the Hollywood star proved that he isn't that behind from his crime-fighting alter ego in terms of physicality and athleticism, making some of the show's advanced stunts look easy.
"It's so easy to get a stunt double but he's out there willing to sacrifice his body, not only on-set, but also for a good cause tonight," another of the show's announcers said of Amell.
His appearance on the show is part of a television event by NBC, which aims to money and awareness to help children living in poverty in the US. It is the first time "American Ninja Warrior" held a celebrity edition.
Starring Amell, "Arrow" is a superhero series from The CW. It also stars Emily Bett Rickards, David Ramsey, John Barrowman, and Willa Holland.
