MANILA – It’s been six months already since the movie “Hello, Love, Goodbye” was released in theaters nationwide but its stars have managed to remain close friends.
During the third episode of Toni Gonzaga’s new online show “I Feel U,” Kakai Bautista, Jeff Tang, Lovely Abella and Joross Gamboa revealed a pact they made before they finished filming in Hong Kong.
“Bawal ang taping friends lang. Ang taping friends, during taping magkakaibigan kayo. Nagsumpaan kami na pagkatapos ng pelikula na ito, kung ano ang sinimulan namin, kami pa rin,” said Tang.
Even before the coronavirus pandemic, Abella said they maintain a group chat where communicate with each other.
Gamboa, however, said in jest that they rarely get to talk with everyone because of their different schedules.
Nonetheless, Bautista said: “Pero kapag nagkikita kami, ganun pa rin. 'Yun naman ang importante. Kahit hindi kayo nag-uusap, kapag nagkikita kayo or nag-uusap kayo, ganun pa rin.”
According to Abella, who is a GMA-7 talent, she is grateful to have found new friends from another network.
“Masaya po [ako na naging kaibigan ko sila] kaya iniingatan ko po talaga 'yung loyalty and 'yung trust na dapat hindi masira,” she said.
Aside from the four stars, “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” Star Cinema’s OFW drama starred Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards.
