MANILA, Philippines - It's a dream come true for former "Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen Clash" housemate and now "Showtime" hurado Ryan Bang as he released his first self-titled dance album last week.
On Friday, the Korean comedian introduced his dance-novelty song "I Lilly Lilly Like It" from the "Ryan Bang Dance Album" at a press conference at a restaurant on Tomas Morato Avenue, Quezon City.
Speaking to ABS-CBN News, Bang revealed that it is really his dream to have his own trademark song inspired by "Showtime" co-host Vhong Navarro and Bayani Agbayani who popularized the novelty songs "Totoy Bibo" and "Ocho-Ocho", respectively.
"Siyempre 'yung isipin ko dati pa, dati isipin sana meron akong kanta 'pag narinig madlang people, masaya sila.. Sana mayroon akong isang kanta, 'pag narinig nila masaya sila. Parang Kuya Vhong, parang kuya Bayani," he said.
"Kasi lahat, araw-araw dati pa sinabi ko mga tao, mga kaibigan ko, 'Banana Split', 'Showtime' staff, 'yung handler ko, sabi ko nga sana mayroon akong isang kanta para sa madlang people para sa mga tao dito sa Pilipinas," he added.
