MANILA - You may know of the often dreaded "friend zone," but have you heard of being #MarisZoned?

On last night's episode of the reality television show "Pinoy Big Brother: All In," viewers coined the term as their way of sympathizing with teen housemate Loisa Andalio and her problems with her best friend, Maris Racal.

Asked to choose who she thought would lose more weight and therefore win the weekly challenge, Racal decided to pick fellow teen housemate Nichole Baranda, who have already shown that she can shave off some pounds.

Andalio, on the other hand, maintained her weight since their group started the challenge.

Inside the confession room, a tearful Andalio shared her feelings with "Kuya," explaining that she thought that the one housemate she considered her best friend would be there for her.

"Feeling ko po pupunta sa akin si Maris kasi parang po kaming bestfriend dito tapos nung lumiko po siya kay Nichole, sobrang nasaktan po ako doon. Na-hurt lang po ako kasi parang wala siyang tiwala sa akin," she said.

The term #MarisZoned, which is a play on the widely popular "friend zone" tag and means (based on context) being shunned by your best friend, then started to pick up steam at the micro-blogging site, Twitter.

Moments after Andalio's confession aired, the hashtag became one of the top trending topics on the social media site and was only second to the show's official hashtag, #PBBkaibiganOkaligtasan.
