MANILA - Former lovers Bea Alonzo and Zanjoe Marudo were spotted getting cozy at a party Friday night, two months after they went out for lunch with friends.
Marudo was seen with his hand on Alonzo's shoulder at Restaurant 9501 inside the ABS-CBN compound. Marudo wore a cap and a dark blue shirt while Alonzo was in a sleeveless black dress.
Marudo earlier told ABS-CBN News that he has kept in touch with his former girlfriend of five years since their split.
"Masasabi kong okay naman kami. Kapag nagte-text kami, normal naman. Siguro masasabi ko na kami 'yung kapag magkikita sa isang lugar, hindi kami mag-iiwasan," he said.
"Hindi kami matatakot na, 'Baka nandoon siya.' Okay kami. Kumbaga, anytime magkita kami, magkasalubong kami, wala kaming problema," he added.
Alonzo has been romantically linked with "A Second Chance" co-star John Lloyd Cruz, but the long-time screen partners insist they're just friends.
Marudo said he had nothing against Alonzo and Cruz being friends, or even lovers.
"Actually kilala ko naman sila. Wala naman akong issue about doon. Wala naman akong puwedeng sabihin, totoo man or hindi. Sila naman ang dapat na sumasagot sa mga ganung bagay," he said.
Marudo and Alonzo have not said whether their dates meant they were trying to get back together. (READ: What went wrong? A look back at Bea-Zanjoe romance)
