MANILA – Pokwang is managing box office expectations for her upcoming movie which will be the next release of Star Cinema following the expected blockbuster team-up of Sarah Geronimo and Coco Martin.
Pokwang is set to start work on the new movie with Zanjoe Marudo.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News’ Gretchen Fullido on Sunday, Pokwang said the pressure will always be there.
“Maganda 'yung may pressure para nagsusumikap ka. Maganda
'yung may nilu-look forward ka para pagbutihan mo 'yung trabaho mo,” Pokwang said.
After her movie with Marudo, the comedienne revealed that she will again work on another film with Star Cinema, as well as one for the The Filipino Channel (TFC), who was behind her solo movie "A Mother's Story."
“Same director ng ‘A Mother's Story.’ Malamang habang sinu-shoot, marami akong tissue sa tabi ko,” she said.
With all her upcoming projects, does Pokwang still have time for love?
Na-promise ko sa kanya 'yan,” she said.
Asked to give advice to those aspiring to make it big in showbiz, Pokwang said, “Ang kakambal lagi ng pangarap ay dasal at pagsisikap.”
Lahat tayo merong unique qualities. Iba rin talaga 'yung dasal and may tiwala sa sarili,” she added.
