MANILA — ABS-CBN artists gathered together in singing the network's latest anthem, "Kapamilya Forever," following the government closure of its broadcast operations.
"Kapamilya Forever" was originally released last week as a music video looking back at decades of ABS-CBN's public service, from calamity response, conservation of the environment, to children's welfare, among others.
Those efforts include the ongoing "Pantawid ng Pag-Ibig," a relief program that has reached thousands of Filipinos amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The lyrics video released on Wednesday features an all-star rendition, with the likes of Lea Salonga, Regine Velasquez, Sarah Geronimo, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, Piolo Pascual, Ogie Alcasid, Bamboo, and apl.de.ap lending their voices.
"Kapamilya Forever" speaks of the unwavering commitment of ABS-CBN to being in the service of Filipinos through any challenges.
The song was written by Robert Labayen, Patrick de Leon and Lloyd Corpuz, and produced by Thyro Alfaro and Tiny Corpuz.
