MANILA -- The Star Magic Basketball Team is busy training for the much-awaited Star Magic All-Star Games 2023 happening on Sunday, May 21.
On Thursday night, Star Magic's Inside News with Joao Constancia and Gerald Anderson gave an exclusive sneak peek of the team's training.
"For this year All-Star ngayon nag-drafting muna kami para iba-iba makuha namin at sigurado rito lahat kami marunong maglaro. And this is going to be more competitive since everyone knows how to play. So let's see how it goes," Constancia said.
"I am excited kasi ngayon lang rin ako ulit maglalaro for Star Magic. Last yea,r hindi ako nakalaro. So it's good to be back, makakalaro rin ulit tayo sa MOA. Kasama 'yung mga Kapamilya natin, mga manonood. Kalaban natin 'yung 'Showtime,' mga kaibigan din natin sila. It's going to be a fun, competitive game, very exciting. Preparation is nandito kami sa practice, we're preparing for this Sunday's game. Feel na feel lang namin 'yung team work. Feeling ko maganda ang lineup kasi lahat masikap, lahat excited, lahat naglalaan ng oras para sa practice so it's a good proof," said Anderson, the playing coach of the Dream Team.
Also part of the training were other Kapamilya leading men Zanjoe Marudo, Donny Pangilinan, and Daniel Padilla.
The Star Magic All-Star Games 2023 will be held on May 21 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
