MANILA - The daughter of Freddie Aguilar said she blames the 17-year-old wife of the OPM icon for his supposedly worsening attitude towards her and her family, which she alleged ended with them getting kicked out of their house in Quezon City.

Speaking with ABS-CBN News' Mario Dumaual on Monday, Maegan said her two daughters -- aged 3 and 6 months -- suffered from the alleged behavior of Aguilar, who she accused of depriving them of food.

"Nagawa niya 'yon kahit 6 months lang 'yung baby ko at saka 3 years old lang 'yung anak kong isa, tapos mga babae pa. Parang hindi niya pa iniisip 'yung mga sinasabi niya. 'Di ba, parang wala, e. Wala sa ayos," she said, pointing to her head.

The 35-year-old Maegan alleged that she and her family were thrown out of their home by Aguilar after an argument over "rotten veggies" and her unpaid debt of P1,500.

Along with her kids and partner, Maegan is currently staying at a hotel.

Before this, Maegan accused her 61-year-old father of depriving her children of food, saying he would have supplies locked in one of the rooms at their home.

"Ang sistema ngayon sa bahay niya sa Fairview, kanya-kanya kayong pagkain, kasi nila-lock na nila 'yung pagkain sa taas," she said. "Nakaranas na 'yung mga anak ko ng toyo and rice."

Maegan linked her father's behavior to his wife, whom he married in Islamic rites last November. She earlier accused the 17-year-old of "poisoning" Aguilar's mind supposedly to have control of his money.

"I can't help... Nasisisi ko 'yung asawa niyang bata, kasi mula nung naging sila... 'Di ba October lumabas 'yung balita na [may relasyon sila] -- whatever -- parang gradually, sumasama nang sumasama 'yung ugali ng tatay ko," she said.

The younger Aguilar said defending her father's relationship with his wife was a case of "blind loyalty," adding that her statement supporting them last year was a lie.

In a statement sent to ABS-CBN News, the veteran folk singer only said that those who live with him, including Maegan, know the truth, and that he has no plans of saying anything further about his daughter's allegations out of love for her.
