It's been a difficult few months for Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda after his baby son Miggy had a health scare. But things are, in his words, now "A-OK."
Following a series of hospital visits, the rock singer took to Instagram this Wednesday to inform his fans that his son has now been cleared of any "super serious" conditions.
"Sobrang hirap, jusko! Super stressful," he wrote, as he posted a photo -- taken a few weeks ago -- of him and his wife, Neri Naig, watching over their baby undergoing a CT scan.
He continued: "But being the dad, wala kang choice but to be strong kasi you need to maintain a light and happy disposition for your family kahit deep inside [ay] nag-aalala ka."
"Todo dasal na lang talaga at tiwala na everything will be fine. At ngayon, officially OK na si Miggy, at sobrang saya ko talaga kaya gusto ko na i-share!" he added.
Miranda refused to share any further details about Miggy's health scare, but he did point out that cases of urinary tract infection should "never be taken lightly."
He also anticipated some criticism over them being "OA" for having their son undergo several medical tests, "pero sigurista lang talaga kami pagdating kay Miggy."
"Ngayon, kampante ako na Miggy will be fine. At dahil doon, masaya ako. Thank God for that," he said.
Miranda and Naig, who have been married for more than three years, welcomed Miggy -- their first child -- back in 2016.
